On Car Adjustable Panhard Bar Camaro Firebird Poly Poly
Founders Performance LLC has designed the strongest turnbuckle style on car adjustable Panhard Rod on the market. This Panhard Rod is a direct replacement to your weak, factory stamped rear Panhard Rod. Made using high strength 1.25″ OD steel tubing with CNC machined ends and laser cut main tubes for the ultimate in fit and finish. Founders Performance Panhard Pod adjuster is made using the same high strength Forged 4340 Chrome-Moly that all of our rod ends are manufactured from making this a very strong piece. The turnbuckle we use features formed rolled threads (not cut threads like the competition) making it a true high strength piece. Once the threads are roll formed the part is clear zinc plated and heat treated to the same strength as a grade 8 bolt. A Performance Panhard Rod is one of the first parts that should be done on the 3rd or 4th Generation F-body. These direct bolt-on replacement parts will minimize wheel hop, improve straight line traction, and improve cornering, while lowering track ETs and helping your launch launch straighter.

I havent installed the rod yet but the quality feels pretty good. I read lots of reviews and decided to give Founders a try and im sure once installed i’ll be happy with the end result. Next on my buy list are the lca’s.

The bar arrived 4 days after purchase date. I was pleased with the overall quality, although one of the welded threaded rod inserts had a hex collar on it and the other didn’t. Powdercoating job was amazing. Obviously didn’t effect performance, but I thought it worth noting. The difference this part makes in handling is astounding though. Definitely worth $93 shipped!!!

This is an awesome product. It looks great. Installation is a breeze. Lubrication is even easier. However in aviation, we use redundancy. I would have liked for the turn buckle to have a second safety to keep the jam nuts from backing off. Other than that I love it. Especially after taking off the stock unit and comparing them side by side. I will be purchasing more parts from this company. Good job guys.

The fit and finish are excellent. Install was a breeze. Centering the rear was no problem using the turn buckle adjuster. Installed together w/ a strut tower brace, there was a noticeable difference in handling. Steering response is snappier and more crisp. I saved a good amount of my money on these two parts vs the other competitors prices and I don’t feel I sacrificed anything. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy install. Took me about 20 min to put it on. No more body roll and my axle is finally centered. This combined with my founders lower control arms and relocation brackets, I’m putting all my power to the tires.

How is it a top name brand(not mentioning who) can charge double the price and not include something as simple as new panhard bar bolts but a brand like founders charges half the price(literally) for a piece thats just as well made and packaged, but have everything you need including actual lock nuts so the bolts have less chance of falling out like my last one did even though I used a lot of loctite. I’m dissapointed I didn’t buy from Founders in the first place and I think I’m turning to Founders for all my suspension pieces like this from now on just based on the fact that they focus on little details and put care put into it. You can definitely tell the difference between brands.

I was a bit skeptical on account of the low price, but it looks good and has nice welds. Turnbuckle is closer to the end of the bar than what is pictured. On an 85 T/A I am able to adjust the bar with the car on the ground, which made for easy centering. Only complaint is that the minimum length is only about an inch shorter than the stock bar, so I would not recommend this bar for cars lowered more than ~1 inch.

I just wanted to reach out on your comment about the length of the panhard rod when it’s fully shortened. If you used that much adjustment to center your rear end housing I would recommend looking at your brackets on the axle and the car. A car that’s lowered 1″ only moves the rear end 0.0116″, 2″ is 0.0464″, & 3″ is 0.1043″.
